The Phi Phi Islands are an Andaman island group in Krabi province. Phi Phi Don is the main inhabited island, while Phi Phi Leh includes the limestone setting of Maya Bay. Decide whether you want a day excursion from another destination or a stay on Phi Phi Don before choosing activities.

Phi Phi Leh and Maya Bay

Phi Phi Leh's steep limestone scenery is a major draw. Maya Bay visits are subject to park rules and access. Check the current itinerary rather than assuming every trip includes a landing or swimming there.

Snorkelling and sea views

Boat routes can combine bays with time in the water. Compare the number of stops, equipment, group size and crossing duration; more named stops do not necessarily mean more relaxed snorkelling time.

Phi Phi Don

Can I stay on Phi Phi or only visit on a day trip?

You can choose accommodation on Phi Phi Don or visit selected areas on an excursion from another base. Compare the transfer arrangements and how much time you want away from the boat.

Is swimming at Maya Bay included?

Do not assume it is. Park rules and access determine what visitors can do. Read the operator's current notes for your date and distinguish a bay visit from a permitted swimming stop elsewhere.
